Mid-winter is a magical time of the year in the Wairarapa. The cooler, crisp days make it perfect to sink into our deep sofas and large open fireplaces as you relax with friends and family soaking in the atmosphere of a mid-winters Christmas feast at Wharekauhau Country Estate

Sip on one of our famous mulled wines on arrival, before enjoying a festive family-style, four course lunch surrounded by the ambience and grandness of the Edwardian country house that is Wharekauhau.
